Bored with the Typical Easter Costume?

If by any chance someone hosts a costume party this April, this article may shed some light to your choice of attire! Though you do not see yourself egg-hunting in the party, you can choose to give your Halloween get-up a rest and show up in an Easter costume. It takes a lot not resign to wearing the usual bunny costume. One that is extremely overrated and predictable. Also, there is a big chance that you will have clones all over the place. The popular bunny theme will seem easy, but there are other interesting ways for you to turn heads, make new friends, and start some meaningful conversations. How? You go old school.

The Easter Costume Theme

Give it some thought. The Easter holiday is not only about the basket of sweets or the fluffy bunny ears. Basically, it originated from the celebration of Jesus Christ’s resurrection. That’s right. It’s biblical. You do not have to search the internet to have a mental imagery of what they wore back in that day.

Perhaps, it is one of the most convenient costumes to dress up in – take a pick between Mary and Jesus. If you want to double the effect of wearing your Jesus costume, why not try making your own fake crown of thorns? Why not wear that solemn expression, your Bambi eyes while you are posing as Mary? By all means, experiment! Have fun. Let history guide you.

This Jesus Costume is available in one size which will fit most adults. It comes with a robe of a soft ‘earth beige’ color. It has traditional bell shaped sleeves and attached to the shoulder is a long rich red wrap.
